Royce opened in 1970 on one idea: build the school around the student instead of asking the student to bend to the school. That is still the whole job. Small rooms. Structured literacy. Plans that are individual in practice, not just on paper.
We hire teachers, classroom aides, administrators, tutors, and specialists who want to do that work carefully and want to get better at it. What we look for is less about a specific resume line and more about a way of seeing kids: curious about how a brain works, patient with the process, unwilling to settle for a student getting by.

Lower School Teacher
Full time · 2026-2027 school year
We are hiring a lower school teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. You will lead a small group of early learners, teach reading with structured, multisensory methods, and build each day around what the students in front of you actually need that morning. Orton-Gillingham training is provided if you do not already have it.
Administrative
