Upper School at Royce is genuine college preparation – not a modified version of it. Students take a full core curriculum aligned to Georgia’s graduation requirements, with the instructional support that makes it genuinely accessible for neurodiverse learners.

Qualifying students are HOPE Scholarship eligible upon graduation. Dual enrollment options allow Upper School students to earn college credit while completing their high school program. Both pathways are real – not aspirational placeholders.

The 10:1 ratio remains constant through graduation. Royce students do not age out of individualized attention. If anything, the relationships become more consequential as students navigate decisions about college, career, and independence.

Georgia HOPE Scholarship

The HOPE Scholarship covers a significant portion of tuition at Georgia’s public colleges and universities. We counsel every Upper School family on HOPE eligibility from day one of 9th grade – because planning early is the only way to get there.

Upper School students get the full high school experience – milestone moments included. These aren’t afterthoughts. They’re built into what Upper School at Royce means.

Prom

Upper School students celebrate spring with a formal prom – a genuine milestone planned and attended by the students who’ve built this community together over four years.

Graduation

Cap and gown. A real diploma. A ceremony that reflects the actual weight of what these students have accomplished. Royce graduation is not a formality – it’s a recognition.

NYC Senior Trip

New York City Trip

Each year the senior class travels to New York City – Broadway shows, museums, and the city itself as a classroom. It’s a trip students talk about for years, and a fitting way to close out Upper School.
