Why the Rebrand?

For years, families have known us through different names, programs, and identities (Chatham Academy, Royce Learning Center, tutoring, summer programs).

Each piece served a purpose, but together they created a story that felt fragmented – for students, families, community members, and donors.

The rebrand to The Royce School brings everything into one clear, confident identity.

We’re moving away from a mix of titles and programs that felt hard to follow, and toward a unified school known for its expertise: small classes, highly trained teachers, and individualized instruction for students who learn differently. This mission applies to our summer programs, full-time schooling, and tutoring offerings.

This new name reflects who we truly are today: a single, focused school built around how students learn, offering full-time, tutoring, and summer programs under one recognizable, trusted brand.

It’s a shift from complexity to clarity, from multiple names to one strong promise, and from being seen as a set of services to being understood as a leading specialized school in Savannah and the region beyond. We not only serve but set the standard.

The mission hasn’t changed.  

The experience hasn’t changed.  

But now the story finally matches the school.
