The Royce School Board of Trustees is a dedicated volunteer governing body composed of school representatives and leaders from the broader Savannah community. Meeting ten times annually, the Board and its five committees provide strategic oversight to ensure the continued success and well-being of our students, faculty, families, and alumni.

The Board appoints the Executive Director of The Royce School to serve as its operational leader, responsible for managing daily school operations in alignment with our Strategic Plan. Through collaborative governance, the Board ensures The Royce School remains focused on its mission while adapting to meet the evolving needs of our community.
The Board conducts annual self-evaluations to maintain effectiveness and continuously seeks qualified individuals who can contribute meaningfully to strategic discussions and the school’s long-term success. The Executive Director nominates potential Board members who bring diverse perspectives, expertise, and dedication to advancing our mission of empowering students with learning differences.
